The tree-lined streets feature a mix of early 20th century houses including a large number of Craftsman bungalows as well as large and small houses in the Arts and Crafts, Prairie and Colonial Revival styles.

Behind the Scene Tours, through summer. Visitors age six and up can participate in a guided 50-minute tour and find out what it takes to care for animals and exhibits at the aquarium. Cost: $10 per person, plus aquarium admission.
