Los Angeles County Fair, Sep 5-28. This is the biggest county fair in the United States, and it boasts the largest carnival midway in the nation. Add horse races, games, live music, shopping, karaoke and even ice-skating to the mix, and you’ll end up with more activities than you can cover in one day. LONG BEACH – Aquarium of the Pacific Events: 10 O’Clock Sundays, Jun 22-Aug 31. In celebration of the Aquarium of the Pacific’s 10-year anniversary, the aquarium will remain open until 10pm on Sundays during the summer (except Aug 17).
Shark Lagoon Nights, Sep 5-Dec 26. Here is an opportunity to touch more than 150 sharks and see large sharks such as sandtigers at the Shark Lagoon exhibit on select Friday evenings from 6pm-9pm.
